Global Village 5.0 is AIESEC in SLIIT's flagship cultural celebration - the fifth edition of a movement that has turned strangers into citizens of a borderless world. For one electric day in July, Independence Square's Arcade becomes a passport-free playground of music, performance, cuisine, and exchange.
Built by youth, fuelled by curiosity, and powered by the conviction that empathy is the most useful skill of the next century - this isn't just an event. It's a love letter to difference.

AIESEC in SLIIT was established in 2012, contributing to AIESEC's global vision by creating opportunities for youth to engage in real-world leadership experiences. Today it counts 200+ active members across Outgoing and Incoming Talent, Teacher, and Volunteer programs.
Our local committee at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology has been quietly shaping changemakers since day one - Global Village is how we open the doors and let the world walk in.
